In an attempt to reassure his wife and children in wake of difficult reality, a father tries to show how the imagination has the power to create happy memories, even in difficult times. Wishing to hide the financial difficulties that have befallen them, he takes his family on an imaginary trip around the world, fulfilling each child's (Kičo, Ema, Ljubica, Sara, Tara, Oleg and Nina) wish. The destinations of choice are presented through musical choreographies. From Niška Banja to Russia and back to Serbia, this journey is presented through popular musical numbers of the countries to which the father takes his family. Upon arrival, each country (Serbia, Montenegro, Italy, France, Spain, Egypt, the United States and Russia) is introduced by the father's humorous narration. After enjoying the imaginary journey, the return to Serbia brings new problems for the father along with a harsh reality check. The trip is interrupted by bailiffs who present the father with a court order for five months of unpaid rent. Although the children do not fully comprehend the trouble their father is in, they feel it is their turn to support their "guide" who made them happy on the most beautiful trip (and probably the only one they have ever been on). The family represents the strength with which they will face life's challenges.
