Gabriel Gietzky, the director of the play addressed to young people and adults, decided to look at Romanticism, Świtezianka, Lilies or Fish in a slightly different way than we are used to at school interpretation of reading. All the more so because Mickiewicz himself, when writing Ballads and Romances, had not only an emotional attitude to these mysterious tales, derived from the tradition of the commune, but also a distance. The creators of the performance tried to look at them from the perspective of the contemporary generation of young people, who in a unique, fascinating world full of fantasy, folk beliefs and moral truths will often find their own moods and dilemmas, as well as aesthetics close to them. The actors, using a multitude of forms and techniques, play with text, movement, song... The staging uses various theatrical conventions, including the grotesque, while maintaining great respect for Mickiewicz's wonderful poem.
