It's a story about a tree and a boy. The boy visits the tree every day. When he's hungry, he picks an apple; when he gets bored, he plays with the tree. As time passes, the boy gradually becomes a teenager. He comes to the tree saying he needs money. The tree tells him to pick all the apples and sell them in the market. When he grows into a young man, he wants to travel somewhere far away. The tree gives him the trunk to build a boat to travel in. As time passes, the boy does not visit the tree. The tree misses the boy badly and is sad. The boy becomes an old man, and, finally, comes to see the tree. The tree wants to give him something, but has nothing left to give. The boy doesn't need anything anymore, he just wants to sit next to the tree, silently, and go back to their old memories...
