Marijana Prpa Fink

Mariana Prpa Fink was born on February 28, 1966, in Novi Sad. In 1988 she graduated acting at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad. She defended her master's thesis in 2008, at the University of Novi Sad, and her doctoral thesis in 2011, at the Faculty of Drama Arts in Belgrade. She is the actress and the professor at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, on the subject of Non-Verbal Theater. She also teaches Art and Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine in Novi Sad.

Mariana Prpa Fink is the winner of two Yugoslav awards for the play Scheherazade. She is the author of several theater projects and has acted in numerous theater and film productions. She was a member of jury at many festivals, member of the Department of Performing Arts and Music Board at the Matica Srpska, member of the Subotica International Children's Theater Festival Council, member of the Serbian Association of Theater Critics and Theatrologists, member of Vojvodina Drama Artists Association. She has published papers in national and foreign professional journals as well as two books: Meyerhold's Biomechanics: Significance and Influence on the 20^th Century Theater (Grotovski, Barba, Brook) published by the Theater Museum of Vojvodina and the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, under the auspices of the Provincial Secretariat of Culture in 2014 and the Stage Movement and Its Effect on the Spectator, published by the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, under the auspices of the Provincial Secretariat of Culture, 2017.
