On Monday, September 23 - the second day of the 31st International Festival of Children's Theatres Subotica - the audience will be able to watch two theatrical plays as part of the competition program: Play with Me! by Subotica Children's Theatre (12 p.m. at Subotica Children’s Theatre) and The Prehistoric People by Divadla Kladnos Theatre from the Czech Republic (5:00 p.m. at Subotica National Theatre’s Jadran stage).
Subotica Children’s Theatre will perform the play Play with Me! (written by Tamaš Olah, Marta Bereš, Andrej Boka and directed by Andrej Boka) with a following premise: in their desire to provide everything for their children, parents sometimes forget to offer what they truly need the most - attention and time. This play serves as a little reminder and an invitation to play.
The Czech Divadla Kladnos Theatre will perform a play titled The Prehistoric People (written and directed by Jiří Šponar). In the beginning, the houses were not wind-proof and roofs couldn’t hold back the rain. When the merciless winter came, the heat of the stove was lacking. In short, when man was still pre-human, many things were still not self-evident. See the show and witness how the little man gradually won his place amidst mighty nature.
