Felicia is a contemporary puppet theater piece that merges fairytale aesthetics with profound social themes, transcending traditional clichés. Set on the edge of a mysterious forest, the story follows Felicia — a solitary figure whose arrival unsettles the woodland animals. They brand her a witch, accuse her of stealing their joy, and demand immediate action. What begins as a conflict born out of fear slowly transforms into a dialogue, revealing that what we often see as a threat might instead be an opportunity for connection. Through refined visual storytelling and a delicate balance of irony and tenderness, Felicia explores exclusion, prejudice, and the fragile path toward mutual understanding. The darkness enveloping the characters — both literal and metaphorical — becomes a canvas where trust, curiosity, and empathy begin to trace new possibilities. The piece grapples with themes of otherness, community, and solidarity, depicting the arrival of a stranger in an insular world and the transformative role of those who bridge divisions. While the ending carries hope, it resists sentimentality, reminding us that friendship and coexistence demand vulnerability, courage, and imagination. Ideal for audiences aged 6 and up, Felicia is a versatile production that speaks equally to young viewers and adults.
