A boy named A Me would love to live in a land devoid of darkness. How wonderful that would be! The flowers would always be in bloom, people would always be talking and you could always be playing, discovering new places - there would always be something happening. Although he doesn't live in such a place, A Me is lucky – even at night it's not completely dark, because his friend Star shines for him. But one night, Star falls down, and A Me will have to set off on a journey to save her! On his journey, he will encounter a sad firefly that doesn't glow and an angry jellyfish who loves the dark. He will find a city where it is truly never dark, but he will also realize that it is not quite what he had imagined. At the end of the journey, he will surely find his friend Star, but certainly not in the way he thought! As well as gently tackling the fear of the dark, the play also addresses the themes of uncomfortable emotions, dreams, boredom and silence. It addresses all that lies in the dark, from which we are increasingly fleeing towards the light, and which we deny both ourselves and our children the chance to experience, even though it is something we all desperately need. The performance is accompanied by live music on the clarinet and cello, making it a unique theatrical experience! The performance was created with the support of a child psychologist.
