This is a touching story of a grandson’s love for his grandmother. Growing up, a boy who once listened to wonderful stories in his grandmother's lap, had less and less time to visit her. When she passed away, the boy returned to her house, missing her and remembering her stories. With grandmother gone, nature has moved into her house. Watching small animals taking over his childhood space, the boy starts remembering life with his grandmother. Saddened at these thoughts, he laments the time he didn't get to spend with her and all the stories he has since forgotten. However, nature comes together to recount a story of a bird that hid an egg in the house, nurtured it, and - when it was ready to hatch - flew away for good… Having received the story he came for, the boy thanks his grandmother for everything she has done for him and, with all the wonderful memories, like a little bird, emerges from the egg representing childhood and flies into life.
